-
Favorite Books, Writers, Genres:too many to list, but I'll name a few - Dune (read 7 times), To Kill a Mockingbird, Lost in Translation (not the movie--this one is about a woman in China), Sven & Svea or Tales of Lapland (out of print), Bangkok 8, Return of the King, A Gesture Life, Astralagus (in French), No Colder Place, The Incomparable Prince, millions more

High Schools:I was miserable in high school. I really only had one friend. He was a genius who played the piano and wrote his own symphonies, read Marx and Tolstoy on his own in 8th grade, and eventually got drafted and went to Viet Nam. I don't know where he is now but I heard he came back and was living in the Radnor Train Station playing music for the ballet. He was hopelessly in love with a blond sophomore who didn't know he existed. We were a lot alike in that sense because I was in love with a green-eyed athlete who married someone else. Anyway, high school was 50 years ago, so who cares?

Hey Stirling thanks for the comments and it is nice to remember them.
Thanks for sharing your memories and I can see how Dylan did that for he is and was so amazing. I thank all the great people then for helping to move us forward... we may have a long way to go but Dylan and Lennon and S & G and others really moved us farther along.
They were rather Divine Artists!
Love and joy to you!

I have one book signing in New Paltz, NY this coming Friday - it's a pool party at my old landlady's house. I'm only bringing three copies - I need to buy more. I am hoping to get a signing soon at Barnes & Noble in Poughkeepsie but I don't have a date yet. I might try to come to your Fairfield reading - my son lives in Black Rock (on the border between Fairfield and Bridgeport). It would be fun - where is your signing?

The remarks you make about the poem are really special and I am glad that it touches you. The inspiration for the poem, the kind of genius that comes through the great artists of this planet is what moves me so deeply.
He seemed in touch with universal fire and light. He showed that beauty to us. What a great soul...so the words belong to Vincent and others who are doing such fine work.
Love and beauty,
Isis

Stirling,
Have you told everybody about your upcoming booksigning at Inquiring Minds Bookstore, 6 Church Street, New Paltz, NY this Sunday, May 24, at 2:00 p.m.? Anyone who knows you would wager you have a few surprises up your sleeves, not unlike the wizards in your new book, The Nightwing's Quest...

Stirling,
I just looked at it and it was awesome. You did a great job. Now, for further pages, I suggest that you upload the HTML pages (whole) and then after they're uploaded, click on that page in the uploaded-files list and it will tell you the path to that page. Probably something like this: http://wild.sparrow.googlepages.com/mypage.htm
Then, embed in your first page a link to any of the other pages. Then, you can accept the HTML files exactly as you have them.
